Bell Cottage

Bell Cottage is a Grade II listed house of about 220 years in a conservation area, on a residential street close to the centre of Dorchester. It sleeps two in one double bedroom. The pub is 0.1 miles away and the shop 0.2 miles, and the River Frome path and the main shopping street are both within 200 metres.

The sitting room has a dining area and a desk, and the kitchen/breakfast room has an electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a washer/dryer and a dishwasher. Gas central heating is included in the rent and there is an open fire, with a starter pack provided from October to March. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over it. A Smart TV, a smart speaker and WiFi are provided, and the floors are carpeted upstairs and hard downstairs. Stairs and the first floor have low ceilings.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, with extra charges for them. The enclosed courtyard has garden furniture, a hot and cold dog shower and an artificial turf patch. Parking is in a public car park 50 metres away, free at night and charged by day, and bicycles can be kept in the back yard overnight.

Smoking is not allowed, and the minimum stay is three nights. Bed linen and towels are included. It suits a couple with a dog who want to leave the car and walk into town.
