Plum Cottage

Plum Cottage is a one-bedroom, red-brick cottage in the hamlet of Chebbard, 3 miles from Milborne St Andrew, with the market towns of Dorchester and Blandford Forum for days out. It is a cottage for two.

French doors open from the open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area onto the garden, and a step up leads into the kitchen part of the room. The living area has a wood burner and a Smart TV. In the kitchen are an electric oven, an induction hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. The washing machine is in a utility room off a lockable hallway that is shared with the adjoining holiday cottage.

A central staircase rises to the king-size bedroom on the first floor. Its en-suite bathroom has a free-standing roll-top bath with a hand-held shower attachment, plus a walk-in shower and a WC.

On the patio are outdoor furniture and a charcoal BBQ (a starter pack is provided), with an enclosed lawn alongside. Parking is private, for one car, up a set of steps from the rear terrace. The nearest shop is 3 miles off and the pub is 2.5 miles. One dog may come, though additional charges may apply. The cottage can be booked alongside another property that sleeps a further two guests. It suits a couple, with or without a dog, who want a bath to soak in and a wood burner.
