Damson Cottage

Damson Cottage is a one-bedroom, red-brick cottage in rural Dorset, 8 miles from Dorchester and 11.5 miles from Blandford Forum. It sleeps two. A wood and glass staircase leads to the king-size bedroom, and the en-suite bathroom has a free-standing roll-top bath with a handheld shower attachment, a walk-in shower and a WC.

The ground floor is an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area. The lounge has a beamed ceiling, a wood burner, a Smart TV and French doors to the garden, and the dining table is at the far end of the room. The kitchen has an electric oven, an induction hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. The washing machine is in a utility room in a lockable hallway shared with the adjoining holiday cottage. A travel cot and highchair are available on request.

A patio has outdoor furniture and a charcoal BBQ (a starter pack is provided), beside an enclosed lawn. Private parking is for one car, up a set of steps from the rear terrace. The nearest shop is 3 miles away and the pub is 2.5 miles.

One dog is allowed, and additional charges may apply. The cottage can also be booked alongside another property that sleeps a further two guests. It suits a couple who want a bath to soak in and a garden to sit out in, or two couples taking both cottages.
