Bowden Farm The Milking Shed

The Milking Shed is a barn conversion at Kington Magna, near Shaftesbury, one of three on the owners' land close to the Somerset border and within reach of Motcombe. It sleeps six in three bedrooms: two king-size rooms and a twin.

One of the king-size bedrooms is on the ground floor, next to a bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC. Upstairs are the second king-size room, which has an en-suite shower room with WC, and the twin. The large lounge has two sofas, a TV/DVD and a wood burner-effect electric fire. The kitchen/diner is just as big, with a dining table, an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Wi-Fi is included, and a stairgate is available.

French windows from the lounge and patio doors from the kitchen both open onto the enclosed garden at the back, which is mostly lawn with a patio table and chairs. Cars park in a shared courtyard close to the barn. The nearest shops are 3 miles away, the pub is 1.5 miles and the beach is 35 miles, so you will want a car.

Up to two dogs can come, and additional charges may apply. Cats are not allowed in the property. It suits a group of up to six, such as two couples and friends, or a family, who want one bedroom and a bathroom on the ground floor.
