Pine Retreat

Pine Retreat is a wood-panelled chalet on a working dairy farm at West Stour, near Shaftesbury and within reach of Motcombe. It sleeps six in three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom: a king-size, a double and a twin.

The double bedroom is on the ground floor, with an en-suite bathroom that has a shower over the bath and a WC. Upstairs, the king-size room sits under the eaves with pine cladding, exposed beams and a balcony, and the twin is next door; both have en-suite shower rooms. The open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area has a solid wooden table with six seats, reclining leather sofas, a flame-effect fire and a TV, with French windows onto a veranda. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a fridge, a microwave, a Tassimo coffee machine, a dishwasher and a washing machine.

The six-seater hot tub is private and sits in an enclosed, covered area. A decking area has dining furniture and a charcoal BBQ, and opens onto a shared lawn. A separate games room has a pool table, air hockey and a football table, plus seating and a small kitchen area. Off-road parking is for three cars.

The nearest shop is 1 mile away and the pub is 2 miles. Dogs cannot stay here. Pine Retreat suits a group of up to six, such as two families or friends, who want a hot tub and a games room on a farm.
