The Granary at Culverhouse Farm

The Granary at Culverhouse Farm is a barn conversion between Sedgehill and Motcombe, 3 miles from Shaftesbury. It stands next to the owner's home. It sleeps four, in a king-size bedroom and a twin, and has one bathroom with a bath, a separate shower cubicle and a WC.

High vaulted ceilings and beams run through the interior, and a dual-aspect wood burner (the first basket of logs is provided) separates the living space from the kitchen. The kitchen has range-style electric ovens and hob, a fridge/freezer, a microwave, a dishwasher and a washing machine, with a breakfast bar and a dining table. There is a Smart TV, and a travel cot is provided.

Outside is an open courtyard garden with a table and chairs. Parking is private and off-road for two cars, and tethered EV charging is available for an additional charge. From May to September guests can use the owner's outdoor heated pool between 12 noon and 2pm daily, weather permitting; pool towels are not supplied. Use of the tennis court is on request.

The pub is within 1 mile and the shop is 1.2 miles away. The Granary does not take dogs. The Granary suits a couple or a small family who want a private base in the countryside, with a pool to use in summer.
