Bramble Cottage

Bramble Cottage is on the main village road in Cerne Abbas, home of the Cerne Abbas Giant. It sleeps four in two bedrooms upstairs: a double with exposed beams and a Victorian iron bed at the front, and a twin overlooking the garden at the back. The bedrooms share one bathroom with a bath and a handheld shower.

The front door opens straight into the lounge, which has an exposed brick fireplace with a wood burner, exposed beams and a Smart TV. The first basket of logs is included. A step up leads to the kitchen/diner, which has an electric oven, an induction hob, a microwave, a Nespresso pod machine (pods not provided), a fridge, a freezer, a slimline dishwasher and a washing machine.

From the kitchen, you step out to a patio with garden furniture, and six steps then climb to an enclosed lawn surrounded by mature trees and shrubs. Parking is roadside, directly outside. The EV charging point is in the public car park, not at the cottage.

Dogs are not allowed. The shop and Post Office and the pubs are within walking distance, and the beach is about 10 miles away. The cottage suits two couples, or a small family, who would rather walk to the pub than drive.
