Bramble Cottage

Bramble Cottage is a Grade II listed, thatched stone cottage in the middle of Burton Bradstock, built some 350 years ago. A restoration brought a new kitchen and bathroom, new furniture and fresh decoration throughout. It sleeps five in three bedrooms.

The sitting room has a dining area, and the kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a washing machine and a dishwasher. There is a TV, a Blu-ray player, a Bluetooth radio and WiFi, with gas central heating. The single bathroom has a bath with a shower over, a basin and a WC. Bed linen and towels are included, a cot and a highchair are available on request, and guests bring their own cot linen.

Outside, the lawned garden has a patio and garden furniture. It is reached by steps and then a short path behind another cottage, and it is only partly enclosed, so children need watching there. Parking is on the roads near the cottage, and the property stands directly on the busy main coastal road through the village. A shop and a pub are less than five minutes' walk away, West Bay is under two miles away.

Because of the thatch, candles and other naked flames are not allowed, and nobody should smoke near the cottage. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, but not cats. A good-housekeeping bond is payable. It suits a family or a group of friends of up to five who bring dogs and are happy to park on the road.
