Folly Cottage - Burton Bradstock

Folly Cottage stands on a quiet road in Burton Bradstock and sleeps five. The three bedrooms are on the first floor: a double, a twin and a single with a small 3ft by 5ft 9in bed. Next to them is a shower room with a WC and basin, reached by two small steps. A second bathroom downstairs has a bath with an overhead shower, a WC and a basin.

You enter into the sitting and dining room, which has exposed beams, a window seat and a log burner. Logs and coal are included from October to April, but kindling and firelighters are not. Two steps lead into the kitchen, with a Belfast sink and wooden worktops, an electric oven and hob, a fridge with an ice box, a microwave, a washing machine and a dishwasher. There is a Nespresso Pixie machine, though pods are not provided, and the cottage also has a Smart TV, a Hi-Fi, Wi-Fi and central heating.

A door from the kitchen opens onto the terrace and garden. The garden runs to 80 feet, with a courtyard reached along a shared path, two more terraces and a summer house. Parking is on-street on the village lane near the property.

The beach is 0.5 miles away, the pub 200 yards and the shop 300 yards. Dogs are not allowed. The cottage suits a family of five, or a couple with friends, who want a long garden and a walk to the shops and the sea.
