River Cottage

River Cottage takes up to two well-behaved dogs, and the enclosed garden gives them space. It lies 15 to 20 metres behind the cottage and is reached by crossing a courtyard shared with the neighbouring property.

The thatched cottage is in Burton Bradstock and stands on the main road through the village, although you come and go by the back door, which is reached across a courtyard shared with the neighbouring properties. Off-road parking holds two cars. The living space is a kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room, where the fireplace is not a working fire.

Three bedrooms sleep five: two doubles and a single. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over it, and there is a separate WC with a basin. The kitchen has an oven, a gas hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a washer/dryer and a dishwasher, and the TV has Freeview. Gas central heating, WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels all come with the rent, and a cot can be requested.

The shop and a pub are five minutes' walk away, and Hive Beach, with its cafe, is a short stroll. The village has two pubs, and West Bay harbour is a few miles off. The cottage is non-smoking. It suits a couple or a family travelling with dogs who want a garden of their own.
