Sea-view annexe for two near Burton Bradstock, dogs welcome

Burton Bay is an annexe behind the main house, Burton View, up a private gated drive on the coast road just outside Burton Bradstock. It sleeps two, with views over the Jurassic coastline, and the sitting room overlooks the Freshwater holiday park. Freshwater Beach is a 10-minute walk, and Hive Beach, with its cafe, is about 20 minutes on foot.

The sitting room, dining space and kitchen share one open area, with an induction hob, an electric oven, a fridge, a freezer, a microwave and a dishwasher. There is a laundry room, and a washing machine is included. The bedroom has a king-size bed and the shower room has a shower, basin and WC. A cot and highchair are available, and gas central heating, WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included.

Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome, and the patio garden is a spot for breakfast. Parking is allocated and off the road. The annexe is just outside the village, and there is no footpath for the short walk in, so take care on the road, which can be busier in summer. The Anchor and the Three Horseshoes are the village pubs. A good-housekeeping bond is payable. It suits a couple, with or without dogs, who want a quiet base on the coast.
