Buzzards Beau

Buzzards Beau is an annexe in the east wing of a Victorian mansion at Broadmayne, near Dorchester and close to Warmwell. You walk up the lane and across a terrace to the front door. The estate is private, and the shop and pub are each within 0.5 miles. Dorchester is 4.5 miles away and the coast is 4 miles.

The living area is open-plan and runs under a vaulted ceiling with open beams, with a brick feature wall that holds the TV. The kitchen sits just behind it, with an oven and electric hob, a fridge with an icebox, a microwave, a kettle, a toaster and a washing machine. Wi-Fi is available, and there is an iPod dock and a Hi-Fi. A short corridor leads to the bedroom, which has a 5ft double bed, and to the bathroom, which has a jacuzzi bath with an overhead shower and a WC.

There are two gardens, one at the side with a terrace, lawn and plants, and one at the rear with a south-facing terrace. Off-road parking is for one car. The annexe has central heating.

Children are not accepted, and no dogs are allowed. Arrival is from 3pm and departure is before 10am. It suits a couple who want a private base with a bath to themselves and the town of Dorchester nearby.
