Coombe Street Cottage

Coombe Street Cottage is a duplex apartment on the first and second floors in Lyme Regis, reached by steps at the rear of the building. It has a sitting room with a woodburning stove, a dining room with a large table and a fully equipped kitchen with a large stove cooker, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. Gas heating, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included.

Four bedrooms sleep eight. On the second floor are a super-king whose zip link can be undone to make twin beds on request, a king-size with a TV and a bunk room, while the first-floor bedroom is a double. The second-floor bathroom has a bath and the first-floor shower room has a shower cubicle.

The private garden is enclosed and was recently re-landscaped, with a patio and furniture. One dog is accepted, and smoking is not allowed. Guests also pay a good-housekeeping bond.

Parking is by permit, not a space: one permit is supplied for Woodmead car park on Hill Road, with no allocated bay, subject to availability, and within a five-minute walk. A pub is opposite, a local brewery is 50 yards away and the nearest shop is 0.3 miles. The apartment is best for a family or a group of couples who are happy with steps and stairs and can manage without a car at the door.
