Gull Cottage

Gull Cottage is a slate-clad house rising above the beach in Lyme Regis, once part of a 19th century harbour tavern. Large bay windows in the sitting room look onto the beach, and an electric fire stove sits in a traditional fireplace. The dining room has a central wooden table, and the kitchen has a dishwasher, a washer/dryer and a microwave. There are two TVs, WiFi, and gas heating, with fuel, power, linen and towels included.

Four bedrooms sleep eight. The ground-floor king-size has an en-suite wet-room with a shower, and two more king-size rooms on the first floor each have an en-suite shower room. The fourth bedroom is a twin. A separate bathroom adds a bath with a shower over, so the house has four bathrooms.

Outside is an enclosed patio with furniture and a raised balcony, reached by steps and a small gate; children need supervising there. Parking is for one car in a private car park a short walk from the house. The shop and pub are each 0.1 miles away. The house sits close to the Cobb area, so occasional late-night events are possible.

Pets and smoking are not allowed, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. It is best for a family or a group of adults who want a ground-floor bedroom as well as three upstairs.
