Greystones

Greystones is the main part of a stone-fronted 1920s house on a residential road in Lyme Regis, about five minutes' walk from the shoreline. Large windows in the sitting/dining room look across the town towards the coast, and the off-road parking takes up to three cars.

Four bedrooms sleep eight. A king-size is on the ground floor, with an ornamental fireplace, and a second king-size is upstairs. The other two rooms are twins with zip-link beds, which can be made up as king-size beds on request. Bathroom provision is a family bathroom with a bath and a walk-in shower, a ground-floor shower room with a walk-in shower, and a separate WC with a basin.

The kitchen has an electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a washer/dryer and a dishwasher; heating is gas, and there is a TV, CD player, radio and WiFi. The garden is enclosed, with sloping steps, a sloping lawn, shrubs and furniture. An arrival pack includes milk, tea and local Dorset treats.

Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. The shop and the pub are each 0.2 miles away. Pets are not permitted, and neither is smoking. It suits a family or two couples sharing who want a bedroom on the ground floor and room to park several cars.
