Daisy - Buckham Mills

Daisy is a former dairy, now a terraced single-storey cottage for two, in the Buckham Mills group at Mosterton, near Beaminster. Three steps lead from the shared courtyard to the front door, at the end of a long gravel driveway.

Parking is in the shared car park for 2 cars, about 10m from the cottage, and you can unload directly outside. The open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner has exposed stonework and timber beams and a wood burner, with the first basket of logs included. There is a Smart TV in the lounge and another in the bedroom. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a fridge with ice compartment, a microwave, a washer/dryer, a dishwasher and a central breakfast bar.

The bedroom has a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room with shower and WC. Outdoors there is a bistro table and chairs, and a shared seating area with garden furniture and a BBQ. A 2.5 acre paddock lets guests look for local wildlife.

One dog is allowed, and additional charges may apply. Shop and pub are within walking distance, and the beach is 9.5 miles off. The cottage is one of four in a complex, and there is a discount for guests booking all four together, so ask for details. It works for a couple, with or without a dog, who are happy with three entrance steps.
