Primrose - Buckham Mills

Primrose is an end-of-terrace, single-storey cottage in the Buckham Mills group at Mosterton, near Beaminster. A long gravel driveway reaches the group, and three steps lead up from the shared courtyard to the front door. It sleeps two.

The open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner has exposed stonework and timber beams, a wood burner (the first basket of logs is included) and a Smart TV, with a second one in the bedroom. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a fridge with ice compartment, a dishwasher, a washer/dryer, a microwave and a central breakfast bar. The bedroom has a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room with a WC.

Outside, a bistro table and chairs sit by the cottage, and a further shared seating area has garden furniture and a BBQ. Guests can use the 2.5 acre paddock, where local wildlife may be spotted. The seating area is unenclosed. Off-road parking for 2 cars is in the shared car park next to the cottage.

One dog is allowed, with additional charges that may apply. The beach is 9.5 miles away, and the shop and pub are within walking distance. A discount is available for guests who book all four cottages together; enquire for details. It suits a couple, or one person with a dog, who like a rural group of cottages.
