Dorset Haven

Dorset Haven is a detached cottage in Symondsbury, near Bridport and Eype. A private gravel driveway leads to it, with ample off-road parking, and the main door is at the back, reached along a paved path. It sleeps four, across three bedrooms, with the living space on the ground floor and every bedroom up the stairs on the first floor.

The entrance hall runs through to a utility room with a washer/dryer and a separate WC. The kitchen/diner has a wood burner (the first basket of logs is included), an electric oven and hob, a dishwasher, a microwave and a fridge/freezer, and the lounge next door has a TV. Upstairs are two super-king-size zip-and-link bedrooms, either of which can be made up as twins on request, and one of them has a TV. A single bedroom sits alongside. The one bathroom has a bath, a separate shower and a WC.

The garden wraps around the cottage. There is a table for meals and drinks outside, and a trampoline. Two dogs are allowed, and additional charges may apply. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out before 10am.

Everyone shares the single bathroom, which is worth bearing in mind with four adults. The cottage suits a family who want a garden with a trampoline, or two couples travelling with dogs.
