Sealark

Sealark is a contemporary lodge on a small cliff-top park in Eype. The open-plan living space is arranged to face the view, which runs along the coast to Portland on a clear day. Large patio doors open onto a wooden veranda at the front, with a table and chairs for eating outside, and the park has direct access to the South West Coast Path.

Both bedrooms are at the back of the lodge. One is a double with sea views and the other a twin, each with fitted storage, and they share a shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and heated towel rail. The kitchen has an electric oven, grill and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. Heating is electric central heating, and fuel, power and bed linen are included. The TV signal can be variable in some weather.

One well-behaved dog is welcome and must be kept on a lead while on the site; there is no secure area for dogs. Because of the size of the lodge, no more than four guests can stay, infants included, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. The road to Eype and the lodge is single track and narrow in places. Smoking is not allowed.

The shop is 0.1 miles away, the pub 0.4 miles and the beach 0.3 miles, with a takeaway next to the park. Sealark suits two couples, a small family or walkers travelling with a single dog.
