Downhouse Farm Cottage stands in the hills above Eype on the National Trust's Golden Cap estate, 3 miles from Bridport. It sleeps four in two bedrooms and has sea and country views. A public footpath runs from the cottage to a point 100 metres from the South West Coast Path. The beach is less than a mile away, and dogs are allowed on it all year round. The shop and pub are 1.5 miles away.

You reach the cottage along a private no-through lane or track, 0.5 miles long, and the property has a private water supply. Inside, the sitting/dining room has a wood burner, with the first basket of logs supplied, and a Smart TV. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and a dishwasher.

Stairs from the kitchen lead to a double bedroom and a twin. A bathroom has a bath with an electric shower over it, and a WC. The cottage has a travel cot and highchair available.

The enclosed front garden is bordered by a post and rail fence and has furniture and a patio. There is also a small enclosed rear courtyard. Two cars can use the private off-road parking. Two dogs can come, with additional charges. The cottage suits a small family or two couples who want a quiet spot with walking from the door and are comfortable with a half-mile track.
