East Barn

East Barn is a stone-fronted barn conversion in the countryside at Wootton Fitzpaine, near Charmouth, and Charmouth is the closest town. It is built reverse-level, so the sitting/dining room is on the first floor, with wooden roof beams and views across the countryside. There are stairs between the bedrooms and the living area.

All three bedrooms are on the ground floor: a double, a twin with narrow 2ft 6in singles and a single, which together sleep five. The ground-floor bathroom has a bath, and a first-floor shower room has a walk-in shower.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a washer/dryer and a dishwasher, and the barn has electric heating and WiFi. Bed linen, towels, fuel and power are covered by the rent. Be aware that the sofa has feather cushions, which matters for anyone with allergies.

Outside is an enclosed small garden with a patio, lawn and furniture, and off-road parking for three cars. A maximum of two dogs are accepted; smoking is not allowed. This is a rural spot: the nearest shop is 2.8 miles away and the nearest pub 1.8 miles. East Barn suits a family or a group of adults with a dog who are happy to drive for supplies.
