Ferns Nest

Ferns Nest is a cottage for five on a complex in an elevated position near Lyme Regis, with views across open woodland from the small area at the front. Charmouth is 1 mile away, Lyme Regis 1.5 miles and Bridport 9 miles, and the South West Coast Path is reached directly. The pub is 0.2 miles away, the shop 1 mile and the beach 1.2 miles.

The ground floor has an open-plan kitchen, living and dining area and a family shower room with a WC. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a microwave and a Nespresso coffee machine. The lounge has a TV and an Amazon Alexa, and there are games and books. Upstairs are two double bedrooms and a single, and the only bathroom is the one downstairs. A travel cot and a highchair are available on request.

Guests can use the extensive shared grounds and a shared BBQ area. The shared outdoor heated pool runs from May to September, depending on the weather and on the hotel's availability, and is booked in 50-minute slots, one per household per day. Each person pays a non-refundable fee to use it, and the booking details are in the property on arrival. A shared laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer charges a small fee.

Parking is off the road, about 30 metres from the cottage, and subject to availability. Two dogs are allowed, with additional charges. The cottage suits a small family or friends who want pool access and the coast path from the door, and who can manage the stairs to the bedrooms.
