Embassy

Embassy is a second-floor apartment in the Brewers Quay Harbour area of Weymouth, and it sleeps two. The sitting room has armchairs set in front of the windows that look over the harbour, plus a Smart TV with Sky Stream. The kitchen/diner has a dining table for the two of you.

There is one bedroom with a double bed. The shower room has a walk-in shower, a basin, a heated towel rail and a WC. In the kitchen you will find an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a washing machine and a dishwasher. Heating is electric central heating, WiFi is provided, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all covered in the rent.

Some practical points before you book. There is no lift, so reaching the second floor means using the stairs, and there is a step up into the sitting room. A parking permit for one car in Zone L comes with the stay, but spaces depend on availability and cannot be guaranteed. The courtyard at the back is shared with the other flats in the building. No pets and no smoking, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is by 10am.

The harbour, a shop and a pub are 0.1 miles away and the beach is 0.5 miles. Two free festivals, Fayre In The Square (usually the late May bank holiday weekend) and the Wessex Folk Festival (usually the first weekend of June), close the harbour and Hope Square to traffic, which can mean road closures and parking restrictions. The apartment suits a couple who want a harbourside base and are not bringing a dog.
