Fisherman's Cottage- Worth

Fisherman's Cottage is in the village of Worth Matravers, near Swanage and Langton Matravers. The front door is at the foot of seven external steps, which lead down from a raised gravel parking space for two cars. The pub is within 200 yards and the shop within 2 miles.

The lounge has a sofa, two armchairs, a TV and a wood burner, with logs included from October to the end of April. The kitchen-diner has a family-sized table, an oven, an induction hob, a microwave, a dishwasher and a fridge-freezer. A utility room holds a washing machine, a tumble drier and a separate WC. The three bedrooms are upstairs: two double bedrooms and a bunk room that is for children up to 14. Upstairs has reduced head height in the eaves, and the bunk room is lowest at one end. The south-facing garden is unenclosed, with a lawn, a seating area and glimpses of the sea. There is no mobile coverage in the village, so the cottage has a phone for incoming and 999 calls. Short breaks are not accepted during peak weeks. Guests can check in from 16:00 and check out by 10:00. No dogs are accepted here. The cottage suits a small family who can manage seven steps and a village without mobile signal.
