Ammonites

Ammonites is a detached house in Worth Matravers, close to Langton Matravers and Swanage. An unmade, raised farm track leads up to it, and the front door is at the back of the house. It sleeps five across three bedrooms.

The main bedroom is a super-king with an en-suite bathroom that has a bath, a separate shower and a WC. The other two bedrooms are a king-size room and a single, and the single has a pull-out bed available on request. The family bathroom also has a bath, a separate shower and a WC. The open-plan kitchen and dining room looks over rolling hills at the front and has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. The utility room has a washing machine, a tumble dryer and a separate WC. The lounge faces pastureland at the rear and has a TV/DVD. A travel cot and a highchair are available on request, and there is Wi-Fi.

Doors from the lounge open onto a stone patio on one side of the house, and lawn wraps round two sides. There is plenty of off-road parking at the side and front. Paths from the cottage lead towards Winspit, Dancing Ledge and Chapmans Pool. The beach is 3.5 miles away, the shop 2.5 miles, and the pub is within walking distance. Arrival is from 16:00, with departure due by 10:00. The house does not take dogs. The house suits a family or friends who want a private en-suite bedroom and room to park.
