Hazelnut Cottage - Castle View

Hazelnut Cottage is a mid-terrace cottage in Langton Matravers, at the bottom of a quiet lane, with distant views of Corfe Castle. The shop and pub are 0.5 miles away. It sleeps four across a 5ft double bedroom and a bunk room, and because the bunks are suited to children, a party of four is best made up of two adults and two children.

The sitting room has an open fire in a stone fireplace, with logs included from October to the end of April. Books and board games are kept in the room. A piano stands in the dining room. The kitchen has an oven, a hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and a dishwasher, plus a breakfast table. The single bathroom has a bath with a shower over it and a WC. There is central heating and Wi-Fi.

At the rear is a south-facing sheltered garden, mainly lawn with seating and enclosed by a dry-stone wall. It is reached by a common path and a gate. Two cars can park off the road. A single dog is welcome by arrangement, and extra charges may apply. Arrival is any time from 15:00 and departure is before 10:00. The cottage suits a young family, or a couple with a dog, who want a fire to sit by and a garden to sit in.
