Globe Cottage

Globe Cottage is a terraced house in the heart of Weymouth, a short stroll over the town bridge from the harbour. The shop and pub are 5 minutes away. The ground floor is the social space, with the lounge, dining room and kitchen area.

Three bedrooms on the first and second floors sleep seven: a double, a double with an en-suite on the first floor, and a triple room on the second. The first-floor bathroom has a bath with a shower over it. The stairs to the second floor are steep. The kitchen has an oven, a hob, a fridge, a freezer, a washing machine and a dishwasher, and a cot and wooden highchair can be had on request.

Parking is an on-road zone F permit for one car, and a space cannot be guaranteed. A short-stay council car park is at Governors Lane, and long-stay parking is about eight minutes' walk away at Weymouth Pavilion.

The area has pubs, restaurants and a night club close by, so expect a lively atmosphere, and festivals bring road closures and parking restrictions. Pets and smoking are not allowed. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included. It suits a family or group of up to seven who want to be in the town centre and can manage with one permit for a single car.
