Greenfinch Cottage

Greenfinch Cottage is a barn conversion at Folke, near Sherborne, which sleeps six. The front door opens straight into the lounge and dining room, where two deep sofas face a wood burner and a Smart TV with DVD.

An archway leads to the kitchen, with an oven, hob, microwave, American-style fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a washer/dryer. A cloakroom with a WC is also on the ground floor. Stairs rise from the living space to three bedrooms on the first floor. The double has an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath, and doors onto a Juliette balcony. The second is a twin, and the third has a single bed with an additional pull-out bed. The family bathroom has a shower over the bath.

Outside is a private patio with garden furniture. The wider grounds are shared, with two lakes and a children's play area with a slide and climbing frame. The indoor heated pool gives each cottage a two-hour slot every day for its own use, and the times are posted in the cottage. The first basket of logs for the stove is provided, and more can be bought on site.

One dog is allowed, with additional charges, and dogs are asked to be kept on leads in the shared grounds. The pub and shop are 0.5 miles away and the beach is 30 miles. It suits a family of up to six with younger children, or three adults travelling together.
