Griffin Cottage - Bere Regis

Griffin Cottage is in the village of Bere Regis. It has been fully refurbished and keeps its flagstone floors and exposed beams. It sleeps six in four bedrooms, and the shop and pub are less than 0.5 miles away.

Downstairs, a step leads from the front hallway into an inner hallway and the kitchen, which has a range-style oven, an electric hob, a dishwasher, an air fryer, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and a Philips coffee machine. The utility area has a washing machine, a cloakroom WC and a door to the courtyard. The lounge has a Smart TV and a wood burner, with the first basket of logs supplied, and the dining room across from it has a fireplace.

Upstairs there are four bedrooms: a king-size with an en-suite shower room and WC, a double and two singles. Three of the bedrooms are reached down two steps from the landing. The family bathroom has a roll-top bath with a handheld shower, and a travel cot and highchair are available on request.

The fully enclosed courtyard garden has patio and gravel, an outside tap, a table, chairs and a charcoal BBQ. Private parking for two cars is on the driveway, with roadside parking in front, and the EV charger is in the parking area. Two dogs are allowed, and additional charges may apply. The beach is 10.5 miles away. The cottage suits a family or a group of up to six who are comfortable with a few steps between rooms.
