Groves House

Groves House is laid out in reverse. The three double bedrooms are on the ground floor, one with a study desk, and two of the three have a TV, while the open-plan kitchen, dining area and sitting area are on the first floor. It stands along the shore in Castletown, near Fortuneswell, on the Isle of Portland, and sleeps six.

One ground-floor bathroom serves all three bedrooms, with a freestanding roll-top bath, a walk-in shower, a basin, a heated towel rail and a WC. Upstairs, the kitchen has an oven, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, an air fryer, a coffee machine, a washer/dryer and a dishwasher. There are three TVs in total and WiFi, gas central heating is fitted, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. The fire is decorative only.

A parking space for one car sits outside the front door. The shop and the pub are each 0.1 miles away, and the beach is 0.9 miles. A neighbouring inn serves pub lunches, and Weymouth is a short drive away.

Pets and smoking are not allowed, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. With six beds in three doubles and a single bathroom, the house suits three couples, or a family with grown-up children, who want separate rooms and can share one parking space.
