Sea View - Portland

Sea View is a three-bedroom stone cottage in Fortuneswell, on the Isle of Portland. Chesil Beach and the shop are 350 metres away and the pub is 150 metres. Natural wood and exposed stonework run through the inside, and there is storage under the stairs for outdoor clothes.

The open-plan lounge and dining area has a Smart TV and a wood burner in the stone fireplace, with the first basket of logs supplied from October to April. The kitchen has an electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and a dishwasher, an extra sofa and a door to the courtyard garden. A shower room and a utility area with a washing machine are downstairs. A double bedroom and the family bathroom are on the first landing, and two steps up are the king-size bedroom, which has a sea view, and a second double.

A deck at the front has distant sea views. Stone steps at the rear lead to the enclosed courtyard garden, which has outdoor furniture. There is no private parking: cars park on adjacent roads, subject to availability.

Two dogs may stay, and additional charges may apply. The cottage suits three couples, or a family, who want a beach within walking distance and are prepared for stairs and steps.
