High Tide

High Tide is a Georgian terraced house directly on the seafront in Weymouth, over five floors. Steps lead up to the front door and a sitting room with views of the seafront, a large TV and a retro games machine. The lower ground floor is an open-plan living room with a kitchen, a dining area, a glass-fronted drinks fridge and a cloakroom, and there is a laundry room and cloakroom on the first floor.

The king-size main bedroom is on the first floor, with a bay window facing Weymouth Beach and the waterfront, an en-suite bath and a separate shower. A twin on the same floor has an en-suite shower room. The second floor repeats the pattern with another king-size room and a twin, and a third-floor twin has an en-suite cloakroom, which is a WC only. That makes four bathrooms in all. The 5 bedrooms sleep 10 guests.

There is a designated parking space for one car, and a council car park near Weymouth Pavilion is a few minutes' walk away. Bars and restaurants with outdoor seating line the front, some playing loud music until 5am. Festivals cause road closures and parking restrictions. A highchair and a travel cot are available, as are a dishwasher and a washing machine.

There is a no-pets, no-smoking rule, and guests pay a good-housekeeping bond. The house is right for a big family or friends travelling together who want to be among the seafront cafes and shops.
