Low Tide

Low Tide is a Georgian terraced house on the sea front in Weymouth, set over five floors and facing the beach and esplanade. Steps lead up to the front door and a ground-floor sitting room with extensive sea views, a large TV and a retro games machine. The kitchen, dining and living space is on the lower ground floor, with dining seating for ten, a breakfast bar with three stools and a glass-fronted drinks fridge.

Five bedrooms sleep ten. The first floor has a king-size double with an en-suite bath and separate shower, and a twin with an en-suite shower room. On the second floor are another king-size double, with a TV and sea views, next door to a bathroom with bath and separate shower, and a twin with an en-suite shower room. A third twin on the top floor has an en-suite toilet. That makes four bathrooms in all, and cloakrooms sit on the ground and lower ground floors.

There is one private parking space, and the nearest pay and display car park is a few minutes' walk away. Bars and restaurants with outdoor seating line the front, some playing loud music until 5am, so the house is lively at night, and festivals bring road closures and parking restrictions. A cot and a highchair are available, and a combined washer/dryer and a dishwasher are fitted. A shop and pub are less than 100 metres away.

The house is smoke-free and does not take pets; a good-housekeeping bond is payable. It suits a large family or two families together who want the seafront on the doorstep. Its sister property, High Tide, is next door.
