Jurassic Horizon

Jurassic Horizon has a triple bedroom with three single beds, so it works for a family of five in a converted farm building on a gated complex of 16 properties in Charmouth. The other bedroom has a king-size bed and a TV. The two bedrooms are upstairs and share the first-floor bathroom, which has a shower over the bath and a WC.

On the ground floor, a spacious entrance hall leads to the lounge/diner, where sofas face a TV and DVD player and the dining table leaves room around it. French doors open onto an enclosed patio with a table and chairs. The kitchen has an electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer and a dishwasher, and a utility room holds the washer/dryer. A wet room with a shower and a WC completes the floor.

Guests can use the covered, heated outdoor pool at the neighbouring holiday park, which is open on set dates through the season. Its coffee shop and children's play area are part of the same park. The health club, with its gym, indoor pool, sauna and steam room, is for adults over 18 at an extra charge.

The beach, shops and pubs are a short walk away. Parking is on site and guests arrive between 4pm and 8pm. Short breaks are limited to off-peak weeks, a refundable security deposit is payable nearer the holiday, and electric cars cannot be charged at the cottage. Club Wi-Fi costs extra, and a cot mattress and stairgates are not provided. Dogs are not accepted. It suits a family with up to three children, or a group of friends who do not mind sharing a triple room.
