Jurassic Retreat

Jurassic Retreat is a converted farm building for five in a gated complex of 16 properties in Charmouth. It is a short walk to the beach, the shops and the pubs.

You come in to a spacious entrance hall that leads to the lounge/diner, with comfortable sofas, a TV and DVD player and a dining table with ample room around it. French doors lead out to the patio, which is enclosed and has a table and chairs. The kitchen includes an electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer and a dishwasher, and a separate utility room houses a washer/dryer. The ground floor ends with a wet room with a shower and a WC.

Upstairs are two bedrooms: the main one has a king-size bed and a TV, and the second has three single beds. The bathroom on this floor has a shower over the bath and a WC.

Guests can use the covered, heated outdoor pool at the neighbouring holiday park, which is open on set dates through the season. The park's coffee shop and children's play area are close by, and over-18s can use the health club (gym, indoor pool, sauna and steam room) for an extra charge. Guests park on site and arrive between 4pm and 8pm. Short breaks can only be booked in off-peak weeks. A refundable security deposit is payable before the holiday, electric cars cannot be charged at the cottage, club Wi-Fi costs extra, and dogs are not allowed. The cottage suits parents with up to three children who want a pool and a beach walk.
