Knollsea

Knollsea is a compact apartment in Swanage, reached by a shared entrance and staircase to a private front door. The beach, the pubs and the shops are all within 500 metres.

From a small hallway, the open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area is on the left, with a TV and a table opposite the kitchen. The appliances are a gas hob, an electric oven, a fridge, a freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave, a Lavazza coffee machine and a washing machine. The double bedroom and the bathroom, which has a shower over the bath and a WC, are off the hallway.

A steep ladder-style staircase climbs to a mezzanine snug in the eaves, which has a second TV. A double sofa bed can be set up in either the snug or the lounge on request, although the apartment is booked for two guests. Take care on the stairs in both directions.

There are two balconies with furniture, one leading off the lounge and the other off the bedroom. One off-road parking space is allocated to the apartment. No dogs can stay in the apartment. The apartment suits a couple who want a base close to the sea and are happy with a shared staircase and a steep stair up to the snug.
