Lyme Bay View

Lyme Bay View is a four-bedroom house in Lyme Regis with a front roof terrace that has furniture and sea views. The terrace is reached through a study, and the sitting room has an enclosed log-effect gas fire. A snug has patio doors and a Smart TV, and the kitchen/diner has another. A utility room and a ground-floor cloakroom are also provided.

The bedrooms are on the first floor. The super-king-size has an en-suite with a bath and a walk-in shower, the first king-size has an en-suite shower, and the second king-size and the twin share the family bathroom, which has a bath with a thermostatic shower over. Gas central heating is fitted. Note that the bedding is feather, and no alternative is provided, which matters for allergies.

The kitchen has an electric oven, an induction hob, a combi microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a washing machine, a tumble dryer and a dishwasher, and the house has three Smart TVs, a soundbar and WiFi. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent, and a welcome hamper is provided. At the back, a terraced garden has a patio, outdoor furniture and a coffee table, and off-road parking takes two cars.

Two well-behaved pets are welcome, but not upstairs. The house is reached up a set of steps, so it may not suit guests with mobility issues, and smoking is not allowed. The shop is 0.6 miles away, the pub 0.4 miles and the beach 0.8 miles. It suits a family or two couples who want en-suite rooms and a dog-friendly base.
