Magnolia Cottage Osmington

Magnolia Cottage stands within East Farm in Osmington and dates from the 17th century, built in thatch and stone. Inside, one open-plan room holds the kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with an electric fire that gives a log-burner effect. Gas central heating is installed, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

The 2 bedrooms are a super king-size double and a twin, and the twin can be made up as a second super king-size. Guests share one bathroom with a bath, a separate shower, a basin and a WC, and a cloakroom on the ground floor has its own basin and WC. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a washing machine, a tumble dryer and a dishwasher. There is a Smart TV, a radio, an iPod dock, WiFi and a selection of books. A cot and a high chair are available, and guests bring their own cot linen.

Outside there is a small patio with seating in a courtyard. Because the roof is thatched, barbecues and naked flames are not allowed. One parking space is allocated to the cottage, off the road. Stag parties are not accepted, and smoking is not allowed.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Magnolia suits two couples sharing, or a family of four, who want a self-contained cottage with a dishwasher and tumble dryer.
