Mermaid House

Mermaid House is a three-storey townhouse in the heart of Lyme Regis, sleeping eleven. The first-floor sitting room has an ornamental fireplace, and the house also has a large kitchen/diner and a separate dining room. The shop is 0.3 miles away and the pub 0.1 miles.

Five bedrooms cover most group shapes: three king-sizes, a family room with three single beds and a twin. The ground-floor king-size has an adjacent shower room, and getting to it involves three steps down. Two king-size rooms have en-suite walk-in showers, and a main bathroom with a bath and shower over completes four bathrooms.

The kitchen has an electric oven and grill, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and hairdryer. A highchair, travel cot and cot are supplied. Outside there is a small courtyard and a roof terrace with patio furniture. Heating is gas, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent, with a TV, DVD player and WiFi.

There is no parking at the house. One permit is supplied for Woodmead car park on Hill Road, within five minutes' walk, with no allocated space and subject to availability. No pets are allowed, smoking is not allowed, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. It suits a large family gathering or friends who want separate rooms, some with their own showers.
