The Arched House

The Arched House is a three-floor townhouse in the heart of Lyme Regis. The sitting room has an open fire, there is a snug with a sofa and a TV, and the kitchen/diner has a dining area. Gas central heating is fitted, and fuel, power and a starter pack of logs are included in the rent, along with bed linen and towels.

Five bedrooms sleep ten. Three of them have zip-and-link beds that can be made up as a king-size or a twin if you say so when booking, and each of those has an en-suite, two with walk-in showers and one with a bath and shower over. On the second floor, a king-size room sits alongside a children's bunk room. The bunk beds are for children rather than adults. A bathroom and two cloakrooms complete the house.

The kitchen has an electric range oven and grill, a gas hob, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a washing machine, a tumble dryer and a dishwasher. Entertainment runs to a TV with Sky, a DVD player, a CD player, a PlayStation 3 and wifi. There is no allocated space: one permit is supplied for Woodmead car park on Hill Road, a short walk away and subject to availability. The nearest shop is 0.3 miles and a pub 0.1 miles.

Pets and smoking are not allowed, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. The house is best for a large family, or friends travelling with children, who want en-suite rooms and a spare lounge.
