Norden House

Norden House is a detached house in Maiden Newton with exposed beams and traditional stonework. On the ground floor are a sitting room with a woodburning stove, a snug, a country-style kitchen/diner and a shower room with a walk-in shower. Upstairs, a double has its own en-suite shower room, and a second double and a twin share a family bathroom with a bath and an overhead shower.

The range cooker has an electric oven and hob, and the kitchen also has a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a washer/dryer. Heating is oil-fired central heating. There are a TV and WiFi, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included.

The enclosed garden has seating, and parked in it is a 1960s retro caravan with electricity. The caravan has an awning, tables and chairs, and picnic kit inside, all there for guests to use. The garden is a short walk down the drive and is not attached to the house. Off-road parking takes two cars, and the shop and pub are each 0.1 miles away. Hog Cliff National Nature Reserve is close by.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, and smoking is not allowed. The house suits a family or three couples who want a snug in the evenings and a garden with a caravan to use.
