Riverside 67 Dorchester Road

Riverside 67 Dorchester Road is a cottage in Maiden Newton that looks over the River Frome. Steps lead from its enclosed patio to the riverside. The village shop and pub are each 0.1 miles away, and Maiden Newton has a train station too.

Upstairs there are three bedrooms: a king-size with an en-suite shower room, a double, and a single with a trundle bed, which together sleep six. The other bedrooms share a bathroom with a freestanding bath and a separate walk-in shower. In the sitting room, a woodburning stove sits in an inglenook fireplace.

The kitchen/diner has a double electric oven and hob, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a washing machine, and there are a TV and WiFi. Heating is by electric air-source system and the woodburning stove, and the house has solar panels. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

The off-road space takes one car and can be tight to use; other parking is nearby. One well-behaved dog is welcome, smoking is not allowed, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. Burton Bradstock and West Bay beach are a scenic drive away. The cottage suits a family or friends who want a riverside patio and a stove for the evenings.
