Primrose Cottage - Church Knowle

Primrose Cottage is in the middle of the village of Church Knowle, near Corfe Castle, with the village pub next door. It sleeps eight over three floors. Two double bedrooms are on the first floor, along with a bathroom with a shower over the bath. The two twin bedrooms are on the second floor, and one of them is reached by steep stairs. Stair gates cover the twin bedrooms, and the bedrooms have reduced height at the eaves. The second bathroom is a shower room, and the utility room has a further WC.

On the ground floor, the lounge has a wood burner, with a starter pack of logs provided from October to the end of April. The kitchen has an oven and hob, a microwave, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a fridge and a freezer, and the utility room adds a tumble dryer. A stable door leads to the conservatory, which serves as the dining room. A children's games room has a PS3 console and a reading area. Electricity and central heating are included, and the cottage has internet access.

The garden has a small patio with seating and a lawn, and it is screened from the pub garden. A barbecue is available in the summer months. Two cars can park on the village lane directly outside, though the spaces are not reserved. A village playground is 45 metres away, the shop is 1 mile off and the beach 5 miles. Up to two dogs are allowed, and additional charges may apply. It suits a large family or two families who do not mind steep stairs to one of the twin rooms. Arrival is from 4pm and departure before 10am.
