Spot - The Hide

Spot - The Hide is the end-of-terrace Cow Barn, a recently developed single-storey property in Middlemarsh, near Sherborne and Cerne Abbas. It sleeps two, with a double bedroom and a shower room off the hallway.

You enter from a shared courtyard through a private door. The open living space has high ceilings, a Smart TV, and a wood burner with the first basket of logs included, plus underfloor heating. The kitchen end holds an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge with an ice compartment and a dishwasher, and the dining table sits beside it. The bedroom and the shower room, with its shower and WC, lead off the hallway.

The veranda is covered and furnished, and it faces a paddock with open countryside beyond. A small stream runs beneath it, and the pond across the driveway, in the owners' garden, is bordered by post and rail fencing, so take care with children. Off-road parking is available for two vehicles.

Dogs are not allowed. The pub is within a mile and the shop is 3.5 miles away, so it works best for a couple with a car. The cottage suits two adults looking for a cow barn on a single level.
