Tinker - The Hide

Tinker - The Hide is a mid-terrace, single-storey cottage for two in Middlemarsh, near Sherborne and not far from Cerne Abbas. A private door off a shared courtyard opens into the hallway, and there is one double bedroom.

The main room runs lounge, kitchen and dining table together under a high, beamed ceiling. There is a wood burner (the first basket of logs is included), a Smart TV in the lounge area, and underfloor heating. The kitchen end has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge with an ice compartment and a dishwasher. The double bedroom is dual aspect with beams, and the shower room off the same hallway has a shower and a WC.

Doors from the main room lead out to a covered veranda with furniture, looking onto a paddock and open countryside. A small stream passes under the veranda, and a pond across the driveway in the owners' garden is fenced with post and rail, so children need watching. Off-road parking is for two cars.

Dogs are not allowed. A pub is within a mile and the shop is 3.5 miles away. It suits a couple who want a compact, single-storey cottage with a veranda.
