Stablemans Cottage

Stablemans Cottage is a small stone cottage for two in Langton Herring. It stands next to the owner's home and is reached along a shared driveway, on a small holding where sheep and a horse are at times kept close by. It suits a couple, particularly one travelling with a dog: up to two dogs are welcome and additional charges may apply, though cats are not accepted.

The country kitchen has an electric oven, a halogen hob, a microwave, a fridge with an ice box and a dishwasher. The lounge has a wood burner, a Smart TV and a DVD player, and the ground-floor bathroom has a bath, a handheld shower and a WC. Upstairs, tucked into the eaves, is a king-size bedroom with an en-suite WC and skylights. The ceiling slopes there, so head height is restricted in places.

Logs for the wood burner are sold by the owner only, paid for directly, and guests are asked not to bring or buy their own. A travel cot and stairgate are provided, and a high chair is available on request. Outside, a small courtyard has seating, and along the driveway a separate enclosed garden has a patio, a lawn and outdoor furniture. Private parking is plentiful, and CCTV covers the driveway and front yard.

The pub is 300 metres away, the beach is 1 mile and the nearest shops and restaurants are 6 miles. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is before 10am.
