The Beach Hut

The Beach Hut is a single-storey chalet in Lyme Regis with direct views over Cobb Harbour. Sliding patio doors in the sitting area face the water, and the king-size bedroom looks out over the sea. The kitchen, dining area and sitting area share one open-plan room.

There are two bedrooms, a king-size and a single, so the chalet sleeps three. The shower room has a walk-in shower, a basin, a heated towel rail and a WC, and heating is electric. The kitchen has an electric oven, grill and hob and a fridge with an ice box, but there is no microwave, which is worth knowing before you book. A TV, DVD player and WiFi are provided, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent.

The chalet has parking for a single car. A communal grass verge with furniture sits opposite the chalet. Barbecues are prohibited in the vicinity of the chalet because of the fire risk. Arrivals and departures are on a Friday or a Monday only. The chalet is closed to pets and to smoking, and a good housekeeping bond is payable. A shop and a pub are each 0.2 miles away, and the harbour, beach and causeway of the town are a short walk off.

It suits a couple, or three people travelling together, who want a harbour view and are not bringing a dog.
