The Studio - Arne

The Studio - Arne is a detached house on the outskirts of Arne, near Stoborough, on the edge of Wareham Forest beside an RSPB nature reserve. It sleeps twelve, but the two bunk beds mean it takes a maximum of 11 adults. The house is in Arne, near Corfe Castle. The shop and the pub are both 3.4 miles away.

Two bedrooms are on the ground floor, a twin and a bunk room, each with its own bathroom with a bath and a shower over it. The first floor, with a mezzanine balcony, has a super king room with zip-linked beds that can be made up as a twin, a family room and a triple room. There is a third bathroom with a bath, a shower over it and a heated towel rail. Downstairs also holds a kitchen/diner, a sitting room with a woodburning stove and a snug.

The kitchen has a Rangemaster cooker with a calor gas hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a washing machine and a dishwasher. Oil central heating runs alongside the stove, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. A highchair and a stairgate are available. WiFi is weaker here because of the remote location.

The front garden has a lawn, and the rear garden has a lawn, a patio, furniture and a barbecue. The rear garden is slightly terraced, so take care on it. The driveway takes five cars. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, and smoking is not allowed. All bookings must be confirmed by the owner, so enquire before booking. Stag and hen parties are not accepted, the owner does not take short stays in school holidays, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. It suits a large family or two families sharing, with up to two dogs.
