The Town House

The Town House stands in the middle of Dorchester, opposite the Dorset Museum, in a building that dates back more than 500 years. It sleeps six, and the pub is 0.1 miles away, the shop 0.2 miles and a park 0.4 miles. Dorchester has two railway stations and is on the Jurassic Coaster bus route.

Inside, the ground floor is only a small entrance lobby, and everything else is up the stairs. A king-size bedroom with no bathroom is on the first floor. The kitchen diner, a separate sitting room and a utility area are on the second floor, along with the family bathroom, which has a free-standing bath and a walk-in shower. At the top of the house are a twin room and a second king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower, basin and WC.

The kitchen and utility area have an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a washing machine. There are two TVs and WiFi, central heating is fitted, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. The house has allocated off-road parking. Smoking is not allowed.

Two small dogs are allowed. It suits a family or two couples with small dogs who want a town-centre base and do not mind the stairs.
