Architect-designed sea-view lodge for six in Eype
The Wave is a lodge-style house in Eype, designed by an architect and built in 2018. Its curved shape and fully glazed bi-fold doors are aimed at the water: the kitchen, dining and living space opens onto a large decking terrace, so the sea views reach you indoors and out. The beach and the coast path are a few moments' walk away.
Three bedrooms sleep six. The king-size main bedroom is on the first floor and has its own sea view, though head height is restricted beside the window. A double and a twin are on the ground floor, and the one bathroom has a bath and a shower. Underfloor heating runs on the ground floor and electric heating on the first. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent.
The kitchen has a dishwasher, a microwave and a fridge/freezer, and the house has a washing machine and WiFi. A cot and a highchair are available, but guests bring their own cot linen. Off-road parking comes with the property. Smoking is not allowed, pets cannot stay, stag and hen parties are not accepted, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable.
The lodge suits a family or a group of friends who want the coast on the doorstep, with the market town of Bridport a short drive away.
